MAINTENANCE OF EXTERNAL SURFACES
Use a
polishing
cloth
or dry cloth to w ipe off dust
and
dirt.
When the surfaces are
very
dirty,
wipe with
a
soft
cloth
dipped
in
some
neutral
cleanser
diluted
five
or
six
t
imes
with
water,
and
wrung out well,
and then
wipe again
with
a
dry
cl
oth.
Do not use furniture
wax or cleaners.
Never use
thinners,
benzine, insecticide sprays
or
other
chemicals
on
or
near
this
unit, since these will
corrode
the
surfaces.
TROUBLESHOOTING
Remedy
Separate
the antenna from the un it by
some
dista
nce.
Connect
the
TV antenna
to
the VCR.
Consu
lt the
VCR's operating
instructions,
and connect antenna correctly.
Disconnect the
copy
system
connection
(TV
tuner
f
unction w
ill
operate).
Set correctly
.
Refer to page
18
and adjust
the
rear level.
Connect wi res to terminals
securely.
Insert new
batteries.
Use
wit
hin 7
meters
(23
feet)
and within
a
30 degree
ang le of the remote sensor
window.
Change your position
or
move the
obsta-
cle.
Move
the receiver
so

light
does
not
shine directly
on the
receiver's
front panel
