    By default, the power scheme is configured to SAMSUNG mode. SAMSUNG mode extends the battery life and optimizes the Intel Speedstep function. Since SAMSUNG mode operates the CPU at half its original speed to reduce power consumption, the operating speed of a program is slower than normal.
