    The Basics Setting Up Your Phone Your phone already has a SIM card installed. Step 1. Remove the Back Cover With the phone facing down, insert your fingernail into the cutout located on the lower left of the back cover and lift the cover up gently. Step 2.

    The Basics Anti-Theft Guide You can set up your device to prevent other people from using it in case it's reset to factory settings without your permission. For example, if your device is lost, stolen, or wiped, only someone with your Google Account or screen lock information can use the device.

    The Basics Getting to Know the Home Screen The Home screen is your starting point to access all of the features on your phone using simple motions on the screen. It’s comprised of multiple panels (swipe horizontally to switch). You can customize all of your Home screen panels with app shortcuts, icons, widgets, folders, and other features.
