STEP 2 (Important) Do this first upon arrival Place the HF 300 in position and slowly fill the tank using a sanitary water source, such as a hose, until the tank is 3/4 filled with water to “wet” or soak the media. - Page 3 HF 300 Installation Guide STEP 3 Shut off the main water supply valve to the home. STEP 4 Release water pressure by opening faucets at the kitchen sink. STEP 5 NOTE: 1” and 3/4” quick connect fittings are provided. • Install fittings on the by-pass by removing the red locking clip(s).
- Page 4 HF 300 Installation Guide STEP 7 Turn the by-pass valves to the “OFF” position (red valves) pointing “across” the valve (as shown). STEP 8 With the faucet still on, open the main water supply valve. By-Pass Valve STEP 9 CAUTION: Inspect all plumbing connections.
