    Introducing the i DISPLAY Android Media Player This chapter introduces the Android Media Player and its components. What is the Android Media Player? The Android Media Player is an Android-based (Android OS 2.3), media player that is specifically designed to be used by the retail market. The media player is a robust, yet slim line unit that features an embedded Wi-Fi and 3G (optional) with full HD 1080P resolution that can support almost any screen size.

    Getting Started This chapter describes how to set up and start the Media Player. Setting Up the Android Media Player To set up the Media Player: Remove the Media Player from the box. Connect one side of the power supply to the Media Player socket located on back of the unit.
