4 Operation 4.1.1 Work area safety WARNING Keep work area clean and well-lit. Cluttered or dark areas invite accidents. Do not operate power tools in explosive atmospheres, such as in the presence of flammable liquids, gases or dust. Power tools create sparks which may ignite the dust or fumes. Keep bystanders away while operating a power tool.

4 Operation 4.2 Choose the right parts Choose the nut, cutting ring and socket to match the tube. 7 Battery Charger 7.10 Specific Safety Instructions for all Lithium-Ion ► Do not incinerate the battery pack even if it is severely damaged or is completely worn out. The battery pack can explode in a fire. Toxic fumes and materials are created when lithium ion battery packs are burned.

7 Battery Charger 7.21 Cleaning WARNING Blow dirt and dust out of the main housing with dry air as often as dirt is seen collecting in and around the air vents. Wear approved eye protection and approved dust mask when performing this procedure. WARNING Never use solvents or other harsh chemicals for cleaning the non-metallic parts of the tool.

The battery pack is not fully charged out of the carton. Before using the battery pack and charger, read the safety instructions below and then follow the charging procedures outlined.

For long storage, it is recommended to store a fully charged battery pack in a cool, dry place out of the charger for optimal results.
