Select settings for your region, then select [Next].

Enter your name and organization and then select [Next].

Enter the correct date, time and the time zone and select [Next].

At the [Networking Settings], select [Typical settings],

At the [Workgroup or Computer Domain], select [No,

this computer is not on a network, or is on a network
without a domain], then select [Next].
The computer will restart.
At the [Welcome to the Network Identification Wizard],

At the [Users of This Computer], select [Users must en-

ter a user name and password to use this computer], then
select [Next].
Select [Finish].

Enter your administrator password and select [OK].

Set the Wireless LAN Driver CD-ROM Cisco

Aironet350series Mini PCI in the CD-ROM drive.
Create "c:\util\drivers\aironet" folder. Select [Start] - [Programs]
- [Accessories] - [Command Prompt] and input the following.
xcopy D:\*.* c:\util\drivers\aironet /s Enter
("D" is the CD-ROM drive letter. You can change the
letter to suit your preference.)
Remove the CD-ROM and restart the computer.

When the message [Press F2 to enter SETUP] is dis-

played, press F2 and then run the Setup Utility.
Select [Advanced] menu and set [Wireless LAN] to [Enable].

Press F10 .

At the confirmation message, select [Yes] and press Enter .
Enter your administrator password and select [OK].

Select [Next] at [Found New Hardware Wizard].

Select "Search for a suitable driver for my device (rec-

Select [Specify a location], then select [Next]

Input C:\util\drivers\aironet\Win2000" in [Copy

In [Start] - [Settings] - [Control Panel] - [Network and

Dial-up Connections] - [Local Area Connection], make
the necessary settings.
The settings will vary for different network environments
depending on the network system being used.
For more details, ask your system administrator or the
person in charge of the network.
Install the Aironet Client Utility (ACU).

The Aironet Client Utility (ACU) is used to configure
your client adaptor or use in a wireless enterprise and
perform user-level diagnostics on your client adaptor.
In [Start] - [Run], input "C:\util\drivers\aironet\acu\
Setup.exe" and select [OK].
Follow the on-screen instructions.
Windows XP
NOTE
This manual explains the procedure for default settings.
The procedure may differ according to the settings.
CAUTION
Do not press any key or move the touch pad until [Win-
dows XP Professional Setup] is displayed.
At the [Welcome to the Windows XP Setup Wizard], select [Next].

After reading the agreement, select [I accept this agree-

ment] or [I don't accept this agreement], then select [Next].
NOTE
If [I don't accept this agreement] is selected, the Win-
dows setup will be aborted.
