The guide for the mechanical design 2.1 The panel guide (a) It is recommended to avoid the following cases since the light leakage can be caused by the pressure of the guiding structure. When the guiding part is made of plastic resin, the gap between the panel and the guiding structure should be considered when you design.

  • Page 37 SAMSUNG Confidential 2.2 The COF and the Drive IC (a) The pattern of COF is easily damaged by the sharp edge of the press and the burr of mold under the condition which the products are shaking while delivering. Therefore, it is recommended to avoid designing not to locate the gate of mold or the parting line in the position of COF when designing the product.
