user manual - technical documentation A61 Y2 9 0020 D EN PRESENTATION The BSD 2.0 is a gateway between your GENSYS / MASTER and Internet. It allows you to remotely monitor your GENSYS from any device with a web browser (Tablet, Computer and Smartphone). This device is compatible with GENSYS 2.0, GENSYS COMPACT and MASTER 2.0. One BSD 2.0 is necessary by unit. You will find below the functions provided by this module: ‐ Sending of mails and/or text messages when an alarm or a fault appears on the GENSYS ‐ Location of your generator ‐ Control of your generator (Control of breakers, changing mode, start or stop the engine etc.) ‐ Visualization of many parameters (generator, mains, engine, inputs/outputs, etc.) ...

user manual - technical documentation A61 Y2 9 0020 D EN INSTALLATION The GENSYS 2.0 and MASTER 2.0 firmware must be at least v4.66a5. The GENSYS COMPACT firmware must be at least v1.01. Warning UNPACKING Make sure the package includes: ‐ The module ‐ A 3G/GPRS antenna ‐ A GPS antenna Unpack and keep the package in case of any return. Make sure the module doesn't have any scratches or visible faults/defects. MOUNTING Wall mounting The BSD 2.0must be wall mounted, by screwing the unit directly to a flat surface using the screw holes provided in the metal casing as shown below. ...

user manual - technical documentation A61 Y2 9 0020 D EN If your network is equipped with a DHCP server (auto configuration of IP addresses), the connection is automatic. Wait a few seconds and check if the light of the LED Uplink/WAN is green. If your network does not use DHCP protocol or if you would like to manually configure an IP address for the BSD 2.0: Disconnect the WAN port of BSD 2.0 and connect your BSD 2.0 LAN port to your computer with an Ethernet cable without using a switch. Open a web browser, type the LAN IP address of the BSD 2.0 (10.200.1.1) and be sure your computer is in the same subnet (IP address: 10.200.1.X with X between 2 and 250). You will see a message box requesting a username and a password: Username: admin Password: Type the activation code which is at the bottom of your BSD 2.0 When you are connected, you can modify the WAN IP address of your product selecting « Network settings ». « Use DHCP to assign an IP address automatically » must not be checked. user manual - technical documentation A61 Y2 9 0020 D EN Configuration 2: SIM card with a "data" plan (Mobile internet bundle) Note: A « data » plan is a mobile plan with an Internet connection ‐ Deactivate the PIN code of your SIM card ‐ Insert the SIM card in the module The SIM card should be pushed into the slot provided on the top side of the unit. The side of the SIM card with the gold plating should face upwards, and the end with the cut corner should be inserted first. When the card is fully inserted it will lock into position.
