Click to open the Call Service window. You may
adjust the voice volume by pressing
Press to increase the volume;
Press to decrease the volume.

SMS Service

Writing a New SMS Message
1.
Click to open the SMS Service window.

Click <Write> to open a New SMS window.
2)
Enter a telephone number and SMS contents.
3)
Click <Send> to send the message.

Note: You may also click <Contacts> to search for a
telephone number in the Contacts book.
2. Viewing an SMS Message
An incoming SMS message can be prompted by sound
or vision as is preset on the menu bar Settings––>
Options.
You will hear sound prompt on a new incoming SMS
message if you have enabled "Play a sound when a
message is received".
Click to enter the SMS window.

Click <Inbox> to enter the inbox to view received

SMS messages.
You will see a pop-up window on a new incoming
SMS message if you have enabled "Display alerts
when a message is received".
Click <View> on the pop-up window to enter the
Inbox to read SMS messages, or click <Close> to
overlook SMS messages.
3. SMS settings

Select Settings ––> SMS Settings, the SMS settings
window will be displayed:
Request status report: With this function being
enabled, the network will send you a report once the
receiver has received an SMS message.
Use same SMS centre for reply: Set the SMS center
number which receivers used to reply messages to the
same one as the sender.
SMS Bear: The bearer field that is used to send SMS
messages: if Packet Switched (PS) is enabled,
messages are sent through the packet field; if Circuit
Switched (CS) is enabled, messages are sent through
the circuit field.
Validity: Select the valid period during which SMS
messages can be stored in the SMS center.
Current SMS centre: The E600 will read the number
of the current SMS centre. If no such information or
it has been accidentally deleted, please contact your
card provider to get this number.

Contacts Service

1. Creating a New Item in the Contacts
Click

Click <New>.

Enter such information as Name, telephone

numbers, e-Mail and other information.
Click <Save> to save the information.
