Provisioning Requirements Provisioning Requirements To configure cards and ports, you must be able to access the 7705 SAR-8 by console or Telnet connection. Refer to the 7705 SAR-8 Installation Guide for information and instructions on console and Telnet connections. The CSM does not require provisioning. However, the IOM, which is an integral part of the CSM software module, must be activated before any adapter cards and port parameters can be provisioned and configured.
