1. Check that the trigger operates smoothly and is free to travel between the ON–OFF–ON positions. INSTALL AUGER BIT The EA08 Earth Auger accepts a standard 1-3/8 inch female hex socket. 1. Align the hole on the auger chuck with the hole in Figure 3. -

Your helper positions himself/herself directly opposite and facing you and grasping each handle firmly. 4. Lift the EA08, with auger attached, and position the auger so it is perpendicular to where you intend to dig. The auger should be just above (not touching) the ground. -
