    OPERATION PROCEDURE This section includes useful information about oven operation. 1. Plug power supply cord into a 230V 50Hz power outlet. 2. After placing the food in a suitable container, open the oven door and put it on the glass tray. The glass tray must always be in place during cooking.

    INTERLOCK MECHANISM FUNCTIONS AND ADJUSTMENT The door lock mechanism is a device specially designed to completely eliminate microwave radiation when the door is opened during operation, and thus to perfectly prevent the danger resulting from the leakage of microwave. (1) Primary interlock switch When the door is closed, the hook locks the oven door.

    SAFETY PRECAUTIONS FOR DISASSEMBLY AND REPAIR - Cautions to be observed when trouble shooting. Unlike many other appliances, the microwave oven is a high-voltage, high-current equipment. It is completely safety during normal operation. However, carelessness in servicing the oven can result in an electric shock or possible danger from a short circuit.

    DISASSEMBLY AND ASSEMBLY 1. To remove cabinet. Remove four screws from the rear section and push the cabinet backward. 2. To remove door assembly. (1) Remove three bolts 1 and nuts 2 which secure top hinge and under hinge stopper, respectively. (2) Remove the top hinge stopper 4 and under hinge stopper 5.
  • Page 33 (1) Remove the out plate 5 and door frame 6 . (2) Remove the microwave absorber 2 and film 1 . (3) Remove a Spring 7 and Hook 3 . (4) Reverse the above steps for reassembly. NOTE : Do not attempt to remove Barrier screen “4” except for replacement. 4.

(1) Disconnect two connector and terminals on the printed circuit board assembly and remove a screw 0 holding the grounding ring terminal 9 of Main harness, which secured front plate. (2) Remove two screws holding control panel assembly to the oven front.

    TROUBLE SHOOTING GUIDE Following the procedures below to check if the oven is defective or not. 1. Check grounding before checking trouble. 2. Be careful of the high voltage circuit. 3. Discharge the high voltage capacitor. 4. When checking the continuity of switches or of the high voltage transformer, disconnect one lead wire from these parts and then check continuitry with the AC plug removed.
