CONTROLS
Functional requirements
To lock the vehicle, the remote control
must be located outside of the vehicle near
the doors.
The next unlocking and locking cycle is not
possible until after approx. 2 seconds.
Unlocking
On the driver's or front passenger's outer door
handle, press the button.
Depending on the settings, refer to page 64,
only the driver's door and the fuel filler flap
may be unlocked. Unlike when unlocking with
the remote control, pressing the button on the
outer door handle again does not unlock the
other vehicle access points. Rather, the vehicle
is locked again.
If a door of a locked vehicle was opened from
the inside via the door opener, pressing the
button on the outer door handle first locks the
vehicle again. To unlock, the button on the
outer door handle must be pressed again.
This is the case whether the vehicle was locked
automatically after driving off or via the central
locking system button from the inside.
