    Quick Start Setup Download and open the iHome Control app from the App Store or Google Play. Connect SmartMonitor to power using included cable and adapter. The icon will start flashing to indicate it is ready for setup. Tap Add Device ... in the Devices tab and follow the on-screen directions to complete setup.

  • Page 7 HomeKit (iOS only) The SmartMonitor is compatible with Apple HomeKit technology. Create your own custom scenes to automatically control your home including any HomeKit-enabled accessory. Use the Apple Home app to configure scenes and automation. Example Configurations Room temperature dropped below 65˚ SmartMonitor triggers a HomeKit-enabled thermostat to turn on the heating system.

    The SmartMonitor can detect “room occupancy” using Sound or Motion. To define room occupany time thresholds, use the iHome Control app. Use the iHome Control app to determine when you want to receive notifications to your phone about changes in your home environment.
