Jumper Description
The VPS-3100 can be configured to match your application needs by adjusting the
jumper settings. To close a jumper, place the jumper over the jumper pins; to open a
jumper, remove the jumper from the pins. In the following example, the jumper block
has three pins (labeled 1, 2, and 3). In this case, the jumper can be closed by cover-
ing either Pins 1-2 or Pins 2-3.
The jumper settings described in this manual are depicted as follows:
A pair of needle-nose pliers may be helpful when working with jumpers. If you have
any doubts about the ideal hardware configuration for your application, contact your
local distributor or sales representative before making any changes.
