    To ensure proper use of the Matrix R7xe-04 Bike, make sure that all users read this manual. Remind the users that before CAUTIoN! any changes or modifications to this equipment undertaking any fitness program, they should obtain complete could void the product warranty.

    INSTrUCTIoNS: The Matrix R7xe-04 Recumbent Bike must be grounded. If it should malfunction or break down, grounding provides a path of least resistance for electric current to reduce the risk of electric shock. The Bike is equipped with a cord having an equipment grounding conductor and a grounding plug.

    3.2 CHeCK for DAMAgeD PArTS Do NoT use any equipment that is damaged or has worn or broken parts. Use only replacement parts supplied by Matrix Fitness Systems. MAINTAIN lABelS AND NAMePlATeS.     CHAPTer 3: PreVeNTATIVe MAINTeNANCe 3.4 ToUCH SCreeN CAre & CleANINg ToUCH SCreeN CAre AND CleANINg * The touch screen requires very little maintenance. We recommend that you periodically clean the touch screen surface with a clean dry 100% lint free cloth and water / soap mixture or a computer or LCD / LED screen cleaner. * It is very important to avoid using any other chemical on the touch screen.

    4.1 CoNSole DeSCrIPTIoN The R7xe-04 has a fully integrated touch screen display. All information required for workouts is explained on screen. Exploration of the interface is highly encouraged. The information explaining how to program for various workouts will give an explanation about the contents of each screen.

    Heart rate - The Matrix R7xe-04 bike comes with standard digital contact heart rate sensors and are POLAR telemetry compatible. The heart rate control workout mode allows the user to program their desired heart rate zone, and the bike will automatically adjust the level based upon the user's heart rate.
