Backing up configuration files

Back up Converged System configuration files with Vision software.
As a system administrator, back up and restore Vision System Library and Converged System
configuration files with Vision software.
IPv6 is not supported by Vision software.

Backing up network devices running Cisco NX-OS software

Create a configuration file to back up network devices using Cisco NX-OS operating systems.
About this task
IPv4 addresses are supported on Vblock Systems and VxBlock Systems. IPv6 addresses are supported
on VxBlock Systems.
Before you begin
TFTP service must be installed, configured, and active, on the AMP or AMP-2 server where the
configuration repository exists.
Verify an instance of the configuration repository exists.
Obtain log on credentials for the device configuration backup.
Obtain the network IP address of the configuration backup repository.
Obtain the device name and type that matches the model abbreviation used to create the
repository sub-directory structure.
Procedure

Log on to the device account using administrator privileges.

To confirm that the scheduler feature is enabled, type: SWITCH# show feature | include
scheduler
