Set the tracking control to the center position by pressing

Play back the self-recoreded
portion and set the VCR in
the SLOW mode with the remote control unit.
Confirm that there is no noise on the slow playback
display.
Press the CHANNEL button (+) about three times and
check that noise dose not appear at the upper part of the
display.
Adjust the tracking control to the center again.
Press the CHANNEL button (-) the same number of times
as in the step 4 (about three times) and check that noise
dose not appear at the lower part of the display.
Notes
CHANNEL button also servers as TRACKING button.

When the CHANNEL
button is released,
after a few
seconds, the display on the indicator is turned to time
display.
