S&P’s complete DHUM-E dehumidifier range complies with safety standards IEC 60335-1 and IEC 60335-2-40. We recommend you check the condition and functioning of the equipment on first unpacking it.
- Page 4 • For optimal dehumidification, close all the doors and windows in the room. • The dry air drawn by the dehumidifier is hot and may alter the internal temperature of the room. • This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with re- duced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.

SETTING UP AND OPERATION Before setting up the device, carefully read the section above on SAFETY AND OPERATING RECOMMENDATIONS. • Connect the unit to the power supply and press the Start / Stop button The device in operation indicator light will automatically start blinking Note: The device incorporates a delay system which causes it to wait for approximately 3 minutes before starting to operate, in order to protect the compressor. - Page 6 • By using the speed selector , you can set the speed of the fan: Fast Speed: Hi Slow Speed: Low Timer operation By using the button , the user can program a period of operation between 1h and 24h. At the end of the programmed period the device stops completely.

MAINTENANCE RECOMMENDATIONS 1. Disconnect the device from the power supply before carrying out any maintenance opera- tion. 2. Clean the exterior of the device using a cloth moistened with water. Do not use detergents or abrasive products. 3. Clean the air filter once every two weeks with hot water (40ºC). Do not use detergents or abrasive products.
