Clock is working but microwave applications are not. Nothing operates when I press the buttons. I cleaned the inside yesterday with spray and wipe. Could the liquid got into the mechanism?

Yes, it is possible. If liquid from cleaning entered the internal components of the Panasonic NN-6568 microwave, it could cause a short circuit or damage the control board or other internal parts responsible for microwave operation. The clock operates on a different circuit and may still function if only the cooking-related circuitry was affected. Moisture can disrupt or damage components without affecting the entire system.
