Fastening the mechanical stops If no gate-leaf stops are in place, you must fit the mechanical stops. Release the gearmotor. When opening. Entirely open the gate leaf. Mark the casing where the centre of the arm is. Manually close the gate leaf. Place the mechanical stop under the casing.

When closing. Close the leaf. Mark the casing where the centre of the arm is. Manually open the leaf. Place the second mechanical stop against the opposite side of the arm. The mark on the casing must line with up the groove on the stop. Fasten the stop using the screw.
Establishing the limit-switch points With the gearmotor released and the gate-leaf closed, adjust the closing limit-switch grub screw by turning it clockwise or anti-clockwise. Tighten the nut to fasten the grub-screw.

Safety devices Photocells A B GND 1 2 3P 7 10 TS 2 CX CY Confi gure the CX contact (N.C.): input for safety devices such as photocells, compliant with the EN 12978 standard. During function programming, the CX input (Function F2) can be set to: - C1 reopening during closing.
Photocells in (safety test) At each opening and closing command, the control board 1 2 3P 7 10 TS 2 CX CY A B GND checks the efficacy of the safety devices (e.g. photocells). Any malfunction will inhibit any command and the display will show "E4".

SETTING UP After connecting all the cables described previously, an expert, qualifi ed professional can then start up the operator, setting the following functions fi rst: - motor type (A1); - number of motors (F46); - motor test (A2); - self-learning of the gate-leaf travel (A3).
Motor test Select A2. Press ENTER to confi rm. Select 1 and press ENTER to confi rm the motor test procedure. The following [---] characters will be displayed while waiting for a command. Press and hold the button labelled with the arrow > and check whether the leaf of the second gearmotor (M2) opens.
Self-learning of the gate-leaf travel Before calibrating the gate travel, position the gate half-way, check that the manoeuvring area is clear of any obstacles and check that there are mechanical opening and closing stops. The mechanical end-stops are obligatory. Important! During calibration, all safety devices will be disabled.

USER MANAGEMENT When entering/deleting users, the fl ashing numbers that appear are numbers that can be used for other users you may wish to enter (maximum 25 users). Before registering users, make sure that the radio card (RXStar) is inserted in the connector (see COMMAND AND CONTROL DEVICES).
Deleting a single user Select U2. Press ENTER to confi rm. Use the arrow keys to select the number of the user you want to delete. Press ENTER to confi rm..CLr will appear on the screen to confi rm deletion.
ILLUSTRATION OF THE SLOW-DOWN AND APPROACH AREAS AND POINTS The travel areas and slow-down and approach points are tested to comply with the parameters in technical standards EN 12445 and EN 12453 for compatibility of the impact forces from the moving gate leaves. = Movement area at normal speed.
