Unpacking:

1.
Your UC-2000 laser arrives in its own box. The wiring is on-top of the foam to prevent damage to the
controller underneath the foam top.
1.1 UC-2000 wire harness.

Upon arrival, inspect all shipping containers for signs of damage. If you discover shipping damage,
document the damage (photographically if possible), then immediately notify the shipping
carrier (responsible party for any transportation damage) and SYNRAD®. See the inventory section
with in the Introduction chapter of the Operation Manual for packaging list(s).

  • Page 3 Before proceeding, make note of the UC-2000 laser controller’s factory settings. You will need to restore the unit to factory settings after the laser’s power has been verified. Set the UC-2000 to MAN- UAL mode, utilizing the ‘SELECT’ button to scroll through the menu selections, and set the PWM Adj Knob to provide zero percent output (0.0%).
  • Page 4 UC-2000’s Lase ‘On/Off’ button to toggle on or off lasing. The LASE indicator on the UC-2000 turns off and the laser’s LASE LED may go dim, flicker, or go out entirely. Refer to the UC- 2000 operators manual for more detailed information. Restore the UC-2000 factory settings.
  • Page 5 Note: to your unit could occur! Return your UC-2000 controller to factory and/or appropriate settings. Turn off the DC power supply, shut off the chiller or otherwise stop coolant flow through the laser when not actively in use to minimize the risk of condensation damage that will void your warranty.
