2 2 2 2 2 MCE Xcarét Pro Expansion Bay Hard Drive Kit Preparing to Install List of Items The Xcarét Pro Expansion Bay Hard Drive Kit comes semi- assembled. To prepare for the installation of a hard drive into the Kit, one must remove the Kit cover from the base by carefully lifting it up and out until the four locking clips are clear. -

MCE Xcarét Pro Expansion Bay Hard Drive Kit Installation Step 1: Place the Xcarét Pro Kit and hard drive on a dry, flat surface. Step 2: Carefully lift the Drive Drive Connector Connector out of its slot and lay it aside the Kit Base. DO NOT pull on the LED wires attached to the Drive Connector, as this may cause permanent damage! If the LED slips out of its front-panel slot as far as it will go until it is... - Page 5 MCE Xcarét Pro Expansion Bay Hard Drive Kit Step 5: To secure the hard drive to the Drive Bracket, screw the four silver bevel- headed screws into the sides of the bracket/drive assembly. Step 6: Carefully attach non-connected pins the Drive Connector to the hard drive as shown here.

Step 9: Slowly but firmly slide the Drive Connector into its slot in the Kit Base.
