Loading the battery

Open the holder by loosening the end-screw
and
insert four 1.5-volt
"AA"
penlight cells,
taking care to follow the"
+"
and "-"
mark-
ings. Page 29 of this manual lists recom-
mended penlight
cells
for
various countries.
Those marked
with
an asterisk
(*)
give
best service. Reassemble the holder (mating
the raised gUides circled in the picture at
right)
by
dropping
the
screw
into
the
hollow shaft and tightening. The end of the
protective
adhesive tape should lie next to
the legend
"4x
1.5v".
