PROTECTING YOUR DEVICE
Prevent others from using your device without your
permission. Device protection is automatically
activated when you add a Google Account and set a
screen lock. Together with Android Device Manager,
you can locate and erase your device, and protect
it from reuse if it's lost or stolen. Even if your device
gets wiped, your google Account password will be
required before anyone can use your device.
To activate
1. Select Protect this device checkbox when
prompted during device set up.

2. Set Pattern, Password or PIN.
3. Protect your device activation is complete when
you setup your password.
