Problem: the Hauppauge DEC2000-t USB driver is not
installed in the Device Manager
This may happen if the driver is not installed correctly (select Update for
the driver in the device manager and select the CD ROM driver) or if you
are using a USB HUB (Try connecting directly to the system's USB port).
This may also be caused by any Firewall or Network protection software
that you may have installed on your system. Because the card uses a
Static IP address this must be added to a secure zone with in networking
protection software.
Problem: No sound or Audio from a TV Channel
This is normally caused by a 'MUTE' option being selected in the Windows
Volume control. You can check this by going to 'Start / Programs /
Accessories / Entertainment / Volume control'. If you then go to
'options/properties/playback' and make sure that there is a check box in
all of the devices listed (you may have to scroll up & down). If you then
select 'OK' you should see a volume control box and there may be one
that has a check in mute, which you need to remove.
