3.4 Your range
Factors affecting range:
support level
battery charge level
Use of the correct gears for the respective
applications
pace
tire pressure
Wheel bearings and both brakes (narrow bearings
or abrasive pads reduce the range)
Total weight (accelerating a heavier person or
high payload requires more energy)
Their speed and wind conditions (fast kicking in
strong headwinds reduces the range)
Terrain (driving on soft surfaces or uphill requires
more power)
Frequent starts and stops (full power from
standstill requires the most power from the
battery) To maximize your range:
Fully charge the battery before every ride.
Check the tyre pressure regularly and inflate the
tyres to a pressure as indicated on the tyre.
Have your A2B serviced regularly to ensure that
the wheel bearings rotate freely and that the
brake pads do not rub against the brake discs.
Keep the total weight as low as possible.
Drive at lower speeds.
Use the power save mode as often as possible
and support the motor by pedaling on your own.
Lubricate the chain and derailleur with a chain
spray recommended for bicycles.
