I've connected my 63890 to the internet but I can't view from my phone how do I do that
To view your Cobra 63890 device from your phone after connecting it to the internet, follow these steps:
1. Connect one end of an Ethernet cable to the LAN port on the DVR and the other end to an open LAN port on your router.
2. Go to the DVR's Network settings (Parameter > Network).
3. Make sure DHCP is selected, then click Save. The IP Address, Subnet Mask, Gateway, and DNS1 should fill in automatically.
4. Enable UPNP, then click Save.
5. Download and open the corresponding app from the Google Play Store or iOS App Store.
6. Tap the Device icon, then tap “+” to add a device.
7. Tap “Manual” to input the DVR info.
8. Enter the Device Name (optional) and select Login Type as Device ID.
9. Tap QR Code and scan the ID QR Code on top of the DVR or manually enter the ID number.
10. Set Media Port to 9000 and enter the DVR User Name (case sensitive).
This will allow you to view the camera feed on your phone.

now someone broke in unplugged my 63890 8ch it stayed unplugged for a 30 days or more now what it had recorded still be there
The recordings on the Cobra 63890 system are stored on the hard drive (HDD). Unplugging the system for 30 days will not erase the recordings as long as the HDD remains intact and undamaged. However, the system automatically overwrites older recordings after approximately six days. Therefore, recordings older than six days will not be available, regardless of whether the system was unplugged or not.

Screen says lost video
When the Cobra 63890 screen says "lost video," it means the DVR is not receiving a video signal from one or more connected cameras. This could be due to a disconnected cable, power issue, faulty camera, or signal interruption.

Forgot password and not hooked up through email can I factory reset my system
Had an attempted break-in and need to review footage. My dad set up the system a few years back, but has since passed. We don't know the password to view playback on the TV it's hooked up to. Looks like he didn't set up a recovery account. Is there any hope to get the recordings?
what formatting option can you use for the hard drive, NTFS or fat32
Will resetting my dvr remove the previous admin if so will they still be able to remote view by using the QR code?
Resetting the Cobra DVR with part number 63890 does not automatically remove the previous admin. If the DVR supports P2P and the QR code remains the same after reset, the previous admin may still be able to access the DVR remotely using the QR code unless you change the device ID or disable P2P access.
