- Page 7 4.PLACING THE AIR CONDITIONER ON THE ROOF A. Remove the Air Conditioner from the carton and discard the carton. Note: If optional heat package is to be installed, do so at this time, before the air box is installed. Follow instructions with heat package for its installation procedure.
