S T E P 1
Fold down the rear seats and empty the area behind them.
S T E P 2
Carefully unclip and remove the upper plastic trim panel.
S T E P 3
If equipped, remove the snaps that hold the top of the
carpet to the back of the cab.
S T E P 4
Locate the two rectangular holes just outside the outer child
safety lock holes.

In vehicles where the carpet covers these rectangular holes,
the carpet will need to be cut as shown.
S T E P 6
Slide a U-Nut in backwards through the rectangular hole as
shown.
S T E P 7
Using a 19/64" drill bit, drill a pilot hole into the back of the
cab through the U-Nut. Use caution as to not damage the
threads of the U-Nut or hit the outer cab wall.
Before drilling, always make sure that you are not
going to be drilling into any gas lines, brake lines,
tires, transmission lines, electrical wiring, exhaust
systems or anything else that might cause a reduction
in your weekly pay.
Always wear eye protection when drilling!
S T E P 8
Remove the U-Nut, and enlarge the pilot hole drilled in the
previous step to 9-16". Use caution as to not hit the outer
cab wall.
Before drilling, always make sure that you are not
going to be drilling into any gas lines, brake lines,
tires, transmission lines, electrical wiring, exhaust
systems or anything else that might cause a reduction
in your weekly pay.
