    Cooking utensils T0 test if a dish is suitable for use in a microwave oven, place the empty dish in the oven and stand half a glass of water in it. Turn the oven on for 15 or 30 seconds on HIGH. If the dish becomes very hot to touch, it should not be used in the microwave oven.
  • Page 5 Do not use the following cooking utensils • Metal containers of dishes with metallic rims. • Metal twist ties. • Sealed jars or narrow necked bottles as they may shatter. • Conventional thermometers. • Foiled lined packages or cartons, such as the type used for take away foods or freezer storage, as it shield foods from microwave energy and prevents cooking.

    Installation Examine your oven. Unpack oven, remove all packing material, and examine the oven for any damage such as dents, broken door latches or cracks in the door. Notify the dealer immediately if unit is damaged. DO NOT operate if unit is damaged. Placement of oven Your microwave is most useful when placed near the center of your cooking area.
