IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

 To reduce the risk of personal injury due to a loose electrical
connection between the appliance's plug and extension
cord, firmly and fully attach the appliance plug to the
extension cord. Periodically check the connection while
operating to ensure it is fully attached. Do not use an
extension cord that provides a loose connection. A loose
connection may result in overheating, fire, and increases
the risk of a burning.
 To reduce the risk of disconnection of the appliance cord
from the extension cord during operating, secure the
extension cord to the appliance plug as described in the
Operating Manual.
 Maintain Appliance With Care - Inspect extension cords
periodically and replace if damaged.
 Do not pick up anything that is burning or smoking, such
as cigarettes, matches, or hot ashes.
 Make sure your extension cord is in good condition.
When using an extension cord, be sure to use one heavy
enough to carry the current your product will draw. A wire
gauge size (A.W.G.) of at least 14 is recommended for an
extension cord 50 feet or less in length. If in doubt, use
the next heavier gauge. The smaller the gauge number,
the heavier the cord. An undersized cord will cause a drop
in line voltage resulting in loss of power and overheating.
 Do not point the blower nozzle in the direction of people
or pets.
 Never place blower on any surface, except a hard, clean
surface when motor is running. Gravel, sand, and other
debris can be picked up by the air inlet and thrown at the
operator or bystanders, causing possible serious injuries.
 Never use for spreading chemicals, fertilizers, toxic
substances, or any other hazardous chemical.
 Never run the unit without the proper equipment attached.
Always ensure the blower tube is installed.

SPECIFIC SAFETY RULES

 Use only identical manufacturer's replacement parts and
accessories. Use of any other parts may create a hazard
or cause product damage.
 Do not use with damaged cord or plug. If appliance is
not working as it should, has been dropped, damaged,
left outdoors, or dropped into water, return it to a service
center.
 In a double insulated appliance, two systems of insulation

is provided on a double insulated appliance, nor should a
means for grounding be added to the appliance. Servicing
a double insulated appliance requires extreme care and
knowledge of the system and should be done only by
qualified service personnel. Replacement parts for a
double insulated appliance must be identical to the parts
they replace.
 For household use only.

dry, locked up place—out of the reach of children.
 Maintain tool with care. Keep fan area clean for best
and safest performance. Follow instructions for proper
maintenance.

unplugging it.

eration is dusty. Following this rule will reduce the risk of
serious personal injury.
