STEP TWO: ASSEMBLE & MOUNT
Assemble each RPH16 horn and D12075T driver by threading the driver into the horn. Using hardware appropriate
to your mounting surface, install the horn/driver assemblies in the locations you've chosen. Snug and secure them
into position, but do not completely tighten the adjustment points just yet, as you will likely need to aim and adjust
your speakers' positions after everything is wired up and running. At this point, set the taps on your speakers to the
lowest setting (25W, as shown in figure 2).
STEP THREE: WIRE RUNS
With your 70V amplifier and speakers, you can wire all your speakers in a daisy-chain fashion (wiring from one
speaker to the next), rather than having to make a separate wire run from the amp for each speaker. You may also
use individual wire runs for each speaker if this is more feasible in your situation. As seen in image 3, your wire leads
with BLACK sheathing will be negative (-), or common. RED (on the direct burial cable) or WHITE (on the D1075T
driver pigtail) will be positive (+). Starting with the speaker nearest your amp, lay out your wire from the amp's loca-
tion, allowing for any objects you'll be running the wire up/down/around, etc., and leave a foot or so extra just in case
before you cut. It's better to have a little more wire than you need, than to cut the wire only to discover it doesn't
quite reach your destination. If you'll be following a daisy-chain wiring scheme, proceed laying out wire accordingly
from the first speaker to the next, and so forth. Once all your wire is laid out, you can begin making the connections
to your speakers. Connect the direct burial cable to the drivers' pigtails using wire nuts, butt splices, or other appro-
priate connectors. Use electrical junction boxes (available at your local hardware store) to enclose and protect these
connections. For outdoor installations, weatherproof junction boxes should be used.
