When in Standby Mode, the radio's infra-red and Wi-Fi transceivers are still operable. This allows the radio to be automatically turned on by the remote or Chromecast built-in stream. When using a Mondo+ with a battery and not plugging it back into AC power when in standby, go into the Radio Settings menu and Select Increase Battery Life. -
