10. Basic Functions

a) Switching On/Off

Neither the screen/DVR nor the radio camera has an on/off switch. When the devices are supplied with power through
the respective mains adapter, they are ready.
Pushing the " " button on the IR remote control permits activation and deactivation of the display at the screen/DVR.
The screen/DVR, however, continues to run internally.

b) Calling/Leaving OSD Menu

Briefly push the "Menu" button (5) on the screen/DVR or the "MENU" button on the IR remote control. Then the main
menu is displayed.
To leave the OSD menu, briefly push the respective button again (several times if required, if the screen/DVR is in a
submenu).

c) Activating/Deactivating AV Output

Use the "TV OUT" button (10) on the screen/DVR or the "AV" button on the IR remote control to switch between
playback of the AV-signal on the screen/DVR and the AV-output.
If the AV-output is activated, the screen/DVR display goes out.

d) Setting the Volume

As a special feature, the small housing (21) in the radio camera's cable holds a microphone. The radio camera there-
fore not only shows the image of the monitored area, but also permits hearing monitored sound.
The playback volume at the screen/DVR can be set at the screen/DVR or via the IR remote control:
"
" button = increase volume
"
" button = reduce volume
At the bottom of the display, a bar chart with the currently set volume level appears when the button is pushed. This
display goes out again after a few seconds.
If the radio camera is operated too close to the screen/DVR (e.g. for testing at initial commissioning or
when logging the radio camera on to the screen/DVR), there may be a feedback and whistling sound. Then
reduce the volume.
