5.2.2 onfiguring the PPPoE Mode for C
To configure the PPPoE mode for the WAN interface, do as follows:
Step 1
Log in to the Web-based configuration utility.
Step 2
Click Basic
Step 3
Enter the VPI and VCI that are provided by the networ
text boxes.
Step 4
Enter the service name in the Service Type text box.
Step 5
Choose the encapsulation mode required by th
Encapsulation Mode drop-down list box, and configure the other parameters according
to the requirements of the service p
Step 6
Enter the use
and then finish the configuration.
You can use the default value for this parameter. In general, this parameter does not need to be
configured.
5.2.3 onfiguring the Work Parameters of the LAN In C
To configure the work parameters of the LAN interface, do as follows:
Step 1
Click Basic > LAN in the navigation tree to display the DHCP page.
Step 2
Con figure the IP address and subnet mask of LAN interface on the HG552a.
You can use the default value for this parameter. In general, this parameter does not need to be
configured.
