Thank you for purchasing the Adjustable Tuscan Fireplace & Camping Grill. Below you will find instructions for assembly,
some suggestions for setup and use of the grill in your fireplace, and a few tips on care and maintenance. Please read all
of the information below before you use your grill. Improper assembly or installation may result in personal injury or
property damage.
Please check that you have received all of the following parts:
1. Grill base, 2. Grill posts (2) with hardware, 3. Grill handles (2), 4. Grill grate with hardware

Assembly instructions:

Attach the posts:
1. Remove the hardware (four sets of screws, nuts and washers) from the posts.
2. With the open end of the base facing towards you, choose the post that has the pins
aligned as the image to the right (higher pins of each set is toward the back) (A) when
attached to the right side of the base.
3. Placing the post on the INSIDE of the base, install the hardware by pushing the screws
through from the outside then fastening with the washer and then the nut (B). Tighten
securely using a flat head screwdriver and wrench.
4. Repeat the procedure with the other post.
5. Check to make sure all connections are secure and the structure is sturdy.

  • Page 2 Attach the handles: 1. Remove the hardware (four screw/nut/washer sets) from the front tabs of the grill grate. 2. Place the tab on the handle UDERNEATH the tab on the grill grate. 3. Install the screw sets from the top with the washer and nut on the bottom. Tighten securely using a Phillips head screwdriver and wrench.
  • Page 3 In addition, because of the high heat, we recommend using tools (forks, spatulas, cleaning brush, tongs, etc. that are as long as possible both for comfort and to protect from injury (all available at http://spitjack.com). Arranging the fire. It’s a good idea to create zones of heat for cooking. Ideally, there could be a hot zone where searing and high-heat cooking would take place, a medium zone where food would cook less intensely and slower, and a zone with no direct heat or live coals underneath (usually toward the back of the grill over the drip pan).
