The device always has to be operated with an appropriate transformer. The power unit falls under protection-
class 2 and the device under protection-class 3. Always plug in the power unit last.
Always disconnect from the mains, when the device is not in use or before cleaning it.
Please note that damages caused by manual modifications on the device or unauthorized operation by
unqualified persons are not subject to warranty.
Keep away children, amateurs and pets from the device!
There are no serviceable parts inside the device. Maintenance and service operations are only to be carried
out by authorized dealers.
Caution:
The fountain require connecting the halogen illumination via screw connectors with the connection cable of
the pump housing. Make sure that you use the correct connection. Danger of short circuit!
Only the pump, the halogen ilumination and the connection cable (power cable) may come in contact with
water - not the plugs or the plug-in adapter.
Be sure to allow a drip loop, i.e. at least at one point the power cable should hang lower than the pump and
the power outlet. At this point water may be able to drip down instead of reaching the power outlet.
The combination of water and electricity can imply a high risk to life and limb, if the unit is incorrectly
connected or inappropriately handled.
Please keep in mind that the power cable may pose a trip hazard.

OPERATING DETERMINATIONS

This device is a fountain for decorative purposes.
The fountain is only allowed to be operated with an alternating voltage of 12 V, 50 Hz. The device must only
be operated with the enclosed power adaptor. The power adaptor falls under protection-class II. The device
falls under protection-class III.
This device is splash-proof (IP X4) and therefore qualified for indoor and outdoor use. In order to maintain
this protection grade after opening the housing, any rubber sealings must be examined for damages and
always be correctly installed.
For outdoor use, the installer must always make sure to connect a rubber cable H05RN-F or HO5RR-F. For
installations in the ground, an underground power cable NYY must be used!
All valid instructions concerning the installation of cables outdoors or in the ground must be adhered!
The ambient temperature must always be between +5° C and +35° C. Keep away from direct insulation
(particularly in cars) and heaters.
The maximum relative humidity is 100 % with an ambient temperature of 25° C.
This device must only be operated in an altitude between -20 and 2000 m over NN.
Fountains are not designed for permanent operation. Consistent operation breaks will ensure that the device
will serve you for a long time without defects.
Do not shake the device. Avoid brute force when installing or operating the device.
When choosing the installation-spot, please make sure that the device is not exposed to extreme heat,
moisture or dust. There should not be any cables lying around. You endanger your own and the safety of
others!
