INSTALLATION

Install the fountain basin at the desired location. Connect the pump with the pump hose. Fix the pump with
the suction feet to the ground of the fountain's interior.
The fountain features a power cable with a power unit. The fountain require connecting the halogen
illumination via screw connectors with the connection cable of the pump housing. Make sure that you use the
correct connection. Danger of short circuit!
Fill the device with water (distilled water is recommended). With conventional tap water, sediment can gather
on the pump after some time which will destroy it.
The water flow can be adjusted at some fountain models with the control valve on the pump enclosure.
This fountain is designed for standing installation only. The device may only be installed absolutely planar at
a vibration-free, oscillation-free location.
Connect the transformer to the mains.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

We recommend a frequent cleaning of the device. Please use a soft lint-free and moistened cloth. Never use
alcohol or solvents!
If the fountain is to be shut off for a longer period of time, please remove the water completely. Otherwise it
may lead to algal and bacterial growth in the course of time.
Remove all water out of the device. To eliminate the residual water which can accumulate in the recesses of
the fountain, use a water absorbing rag or sponge.
We generally recommend a periodic cleaning of the fountain and change of water, to keep the water quality
consistantly fresh.
There are no serviceable parts inside the device except for the lamp. Maintenance and service operations
are only to be carried out by authorized dealers.
