GENERAL MAINTENANCE ADJUSTING GAS SPRING NOTE: Tension or "ease of movement" of the gas spring is set by factory and cannot be changed. Using 2 people (RECOMMENDED), tilt the chair over onto the Left side and locate the Gas Spring (FIG. 1). Loosen the 11/16" hex nut on the Gas Spring located near the bottom-front of the chair.
