It will automatically start the tilt and pan calibration once the boot process is finished. The camera will be ready for operation as soon as the calibration camera movement stops. In order to turn the unit off, just remove the power source, no other special handling is required.
SPT100 USER’S GUIDE 3. WEB INTERFACE SPT100 has a built-in web server. The whole configuration can be done using Internet browser application. No other special software is required. All parameters on the configuration pages are stored in Non-Volatile RAM (FLASH), so turning off the power will not reset them. New parameters will be stored by clicking the [Apply] button with verification that all parameters are valid.

[Properties] button à select [Use the following IP address]. Type in the IP address the same as the SPT100 camera you are going to connect, but the last digit is different, e.g. it can be 192.168.1.2, Subnet mask 255.255.255.0. Press the [OK] button and press the [Close] button.

SPT100 USER’S GUIDE 3.4 Network page The Network page serves for specifying the network parameters of the SPT100 camera. The Network settings (MAC:00:01:98:08:xx:xx) line shows unique MAC address of the Ethernet adapter of the SPT100 camera. All SPT100 devices have common MAC address range...

Press the [Upgrade] button. It will take approximately 30 seconds to upload file on SPT100. Then you will the message: “Are you sure upgrade from 10.12.27.1 to 10.12.29.1?” Press [Yes] to confirm your intention otherwise press [No]. The upgrade process will start and you will see the window reflecting the upgrade steps as shown in Figure 13.

During this period the communication will be lost for about 30 seconds. The Device time parameters group serves for specifying the internal clock of SPT100. The NTP Server address is needed for time synchronization. The internal time clock can be adjusted to reference time server using the standard NTP protocol during boot time.
SPT100 USER’S GUIDE 3.7 Status page The Status page provides users with the useful information measured on the SPT100 camera. The following data can be displayed: the number of client currently viewing video, video bit rate, frame rate, CPU, and Memory usage. The uptime shows time passed since the last reboot or power up.
SPT100 USER’S GUIDE 3.8 Viewing video There are number of ways to get video from the SPT100 unit. For Microsoft Internet Explorer SPT100 has a built-in plug-in, it will be automatically installed the first time you access the Video page. You will be required to confirm the security warnings about the ActiveX installation, as shown in Figure 15.
