The V3i has an external color display along with several keys, indicators, and an
imaging device. These are shown in Figure 2.
Charge indicator Light

Adjust camera zoom when flip is closed.

Insert stereo headset, battery charger,
& other phone accessories.

Color Display
The V3i wireless phones feature a 64k color Thin Film Transistor (TFT) 176x220
pixel display.
"Soft keys" refer to non-labeled keys that correspond to text options displayed on
the screen. The left and right soft keys perform the function shown in the corners
of the display. The right key will usually select an option whereas the left key will
usually exit a function or return to a previous screen.
The menu key opens the initial menu structure, or allows access to a submenu
whenever M appears on the display.
