In the event of malfunction or breakdown, grounding provides a path of least resistance for electric current to reduce the risk of electric shock.     Installation and Service Manual OPERATION AGITATION TIMER The agitation timer is standard equipment for the dispensers with 90.7 kg. (200 lbs.) and larger bin storage. This timer is available as an option for all other dispensers. The purpose of the timer is to periodically agitate the ice in the bin, preventing the ice from congealing together.
