Before fastening the double top
wall plate ensure that dado grooves
align with wall studs.
Use this pattern for the siding on
back wall.
Attach siding at top corner.
Attach all wall studs to top and bottom plate.
Attach double top plate to wall plate using 3" screws through pre-drilled
holes.
Note: The siding should align at
splice between top plates.
Make sure siding overhangs by 1/2"
and attach.
Make sure siding is centered on
stud and overhangs by 1/2"
Attach siding to studs spacing nails
8-12" apart.
