EU DECLARATION OF CONFORMITY

The device meets all applicable European directives, as well as the relevant national laws
implementing them. These are detailed in the EU declaration of conformity which can be
requested from the manufacturer. The declaration of conformity can be found at

The NUK Flash Thermometer meets the requirements of ASTM E1965-98 "Standard
Specification for Infrared Thermometers for Intermittent Determination of Patient
Temperature" and the standards IEC/EN 60601-1 "Medical Electrical equipment - Part 1:
General regulations for basic safety and essential performance" and collateral standard
IEC/EN 60601-1-2 "Electromagnetic compatibility. Requirements and tests".
