    MD-S301/S301W TROUBLESHOOTING It is advisable to use the TEST mode (refer to Error Data Display Mode, P22) indicating the causes of troubles before starting repair. Causes of operation errors (up to 10 errors) are recorded as error codes. This information is useful for repair.
  • Page 33 MD-S301/S301W • "Indication is not normal" Is data waveform observed on the pin 7 of main unit Replace remote control unit. headphone terminal (J701)? Is data waveform of pin 41 of IC401 observed? Check for solder failure around IC401. Is the pin 40 in "H" state? Solder failure around IC404.
