When installing:
• Attach the thermal-fan assembly connector to the system board and tighten the screws in ascending
alphabetical order.
• Before you attach the old thermal-fan assembly to the computer, apply thermal grease, at an amount of
0.2 grams, on the part marked
grease might cause a thermal problem due to imperfect contact with a component. If you are installing a
new thermal-fan assembly, peel the thin film off from the part marked
