Once the alarm setting is done, the alarm will be automatically activated with the corresponding alarm indicator (alarm or radio) light. Turning the alarms on or off When the clock time is displayed, tap the ALARM 1/ALARM 2 BUTTONS (#6/#7) to enable or disable the respective alarm. The corresponding Alarm 1/Alarm 2 indicators (#12/#13/#14/#15) will light when the alarm is enabled. RADIO OPERATION Listening to the radio 1. Press the POWER button (#8) to turn on the JCR-238. 2. Tap the BACKWARD BUTTON (#3) or the FORWARD BUTTON (#4) to adjust frequency. 3. Press and hold the BACKWARD button (#3) or the FORWARD button (#4) to automatically tune to the next available FM station. 4. Tap the VOL UP button (#7) or the VOL DOWN button (#6) to obtain the desired volume level. 5. Press the POWER button to switch the radio off. Notes: • Use manual tuning to select weaker stations that might be skipped during automatic tuning. • If the automatic tuning does not stop on the exact frequency of the station, for example, it stops on 88.9MHz instead of 88.8...
SLEEP OPERATION The sleep timer allows the unit turn off automatically after a designated time has elapsed. 1. Press the POWER BUTTON (#8) to turn on the JCR-238. 2. Press the BACKWARD/FORWARD BUTTONS (#3/#4) to select the desired radio station. 3. Press the SLEEP BUTTON (#2) to enter sleep mode. 4. Repeatedly tap the SLEEP BUTTON (#2) to select the sleep timer 10 – 20 – 30 - 40 – 50 – 60 - 70 – 80 – 90 - 00 (in minutes). The unit will play for the selected length of time then...

TIME PROJECTION 1. Press the PROJECTOR ON/OFF BUTTON (#1) to turn “On” or “Off” the projector. 2. Project the time onto a light/flat surface such as the ceiling or wall behind the JCR-238. 3. The projector portion of the JCR-238 can be repositioned (up to 180° forward to back) to adjust the projection angle. 4. If necessary, you can tap the 180° FLIP BUTTON (#1) to invert the projected time 180º. Notes : The optimal projection distance is 3-9 feet.
CARE AND MAINTENANCE • Clean the radio with a soft damp cloth and let all parts dry completely after cleaning. • Do not use any aggressive cleaners, brushes with nylon bristles, sharp or metallic cleaning utensils, knives, hard scrapers and the like. They could damage the surfaces of the radio. • Do not immerse the radio in water and do not let water getting into the housing of the radio. • Unplug the power adaptor and clean the radio before storage. • Always store the radio in a dry and clean place.
