DESICCANT (IF RECEIVER/DRYER IS INTEGRATED
WITH CONDENSER)
REMOVAL
1) Remove A/C condenser assembly from vehicle. Refer to "Con-
denser" in this section for detail.
2) Remove receiver/dryer cap from condenser.
3) Remove filter from receiver/dryer.
4) Remove desiccant using plier.

INSTALLATION
Reverse removal sequence to install desiccant referring to the fol-
lowing notes.
NOTE:
D Add 40 cm

D Do not open plastic bag until just before installing it into receiv-

1) Disconnect negative cable at battery.
2) For vehicle with air bag system, disable air bag system. Refer
to DISABLING AIR BAG SYSTEM in section 10B.
